To tank or not to tank.

I finally got around to leveling Adiar to 70 and decided I was just going to use her for PVP. That idea always sounds good on paper until you act on it and come to find out that the honor grind sucks.
I won my first AV to complete the daily which was a nice 980 honor but AB wasn’t so kind last night. It’s hard to help your team out when the opposing team is full of S2/S3 geared players and you’re running around with blue rep PVP gear or, even worse, green quest rewards and a level 68 weapon.
I’m contemplating respeccing Protection and using her for PVE instead but I’m not quite sure if that is what I want to do yet. I’ve tanked a lot before but never at 70 and I know a lot of work needs to go in to your gear as a Prot Warrior. This close to WOTLK I’m not sure if that’s something I’m willing to do.
I’ve been trying to build a tanking set just incase and started the Netherwing chain in SMV last night for the shield. I also started the TK attunement chain in SMV to get Grom’tors Charge which I’ve been told is the best tanking weapon pre-Kara and that’s exactly what I’m looking for. Gear that I can tank with in normal 5-mans and maybe OT Kara if needed.
Meh. We’ll see where things go from here, but for now I’m not really liking PVP as an undergeared Warrior.
